INDIC began at home.
As an architect and interior designer, I have spent years creating spaces that feel warm, timeless, and deeply personal. When it came to designing my own home, every detail was thoughtfully considered — from the materials and textures to the furniture designed specifically for each space.
But when I began looking for handles for my wardrobes and cabinetry, I struggled to find pieces that felt right. Much of what I found felt generic and disconnected from the natural materials and quiet character of the furniture around it.
So I began designing my own.
Working closely with carpenters, I developed wooden handles specifically for my home — simple forms that felt good in the hand, complemented the furniture, and allowed the natural beauty of the material to speak for itself.
When the home was complete, these seemingly small details became some of the most noticed and appreciated.

The experience stayed with me. If finding beautifully considered hardware was difficult for someone working in design, I wondered how many others were searching for the same thing.
That question became INDIC.
What began as a personal pursuit evolved into a collection of thoughtfully designed wooden hardware for people who care about the details of the spaces they live in.
From choosing the right materials to refining proportions, finishes, fittings and the way each piece feels in the hand, every decision is considered. Our approach is simple: create pieces that are functional, tactile and enduring — designed not to overpower a space, but to quietly belong within it.
Today, every INDIC piece carries the same intention that shaped those first handles made for my own home.
